SHIFT: MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 4PM TO 12AM (EVENING SHIFT)

The Customer Service Representation is responsible for providing professional customer service in person and via telephone and/or email. He or she will be accountable for addressing customer inquires, complaints, and processing transactions in a transportation and logistics environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience in transportation and logistics is a must
  • 1-2 years of experience in Truck Mate is a must
  • Prior dispatch experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of freight broker, logistics and transportation is a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately track and trace using AirTime’s software
  • Ability to deal with people while maintaining a professional manner
  • Strong work ethic
  • Team player and the ability to work with others
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment
  • Proven data entry
  • Previous knowledge/use of Microsoft, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Provide updates via email to ensure customers are appraise of all delays and issues
  • Make sure all shipments are running on time
  • Life track and trace load life-cycle from shipment to delivery
  • Communicate relevant freight updates to customer and/or internal carriers & the operations team
  • For any customer issues and/or order delays - investigate and assist to ensure all issues are resolved
  • Live update date entry in TMW
  • Provide accurate update to all customers before they request
  • Provide information about company products, policies, charges, and services
  • Act as the customer liaison between departments
  • Ensure you are conducting call-backs to external suppliers to certify customer information
  • Build relationships with customers, drivers and outside carriers
  • Generate daily reports
  • Preform any additional duties as necessary
