We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment and enjoys being a trusted partner to both customers and sales teams. This role combines relationship management with operational support, primarily serving dairy accounts while coordinating orders, documentation, and communication across internal teams. As a key contributor within the reproductive industry, this position supports time‑sensitive breeding cycles by ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and seamless service. Through close collaboration with sales representatives and reliable account support, the role directly influences reproductive success, genetic advancement, and herd performance. This position requires in-office work at our Balzac, AB location. RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams, sales representatives, and external customers Respond to customer and sales inquiries via email, phone, and in person Support order placement, order fulfillment, and payment processing Assist walk‑in customers as needed, with increased volume during peak season (February–May) Coordinate weekly shipments to sales representatives in Canada and the U.S. Work closely with the distribution team to prepare and send required paperwork Coordinate and support field inventory cycle counts with sales management Perform general accounting‑related tasks, including invoicing, A/R inquiries, and payment processing Provide administrative support and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth operations QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in a customer service or account‑support role Strong verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to build relationships with customers and sales partners Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time‑sensitive environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Experience with JDE, PowerBI, or Bambora is considered an asset As a holding company with cooperative and private ownership, URUS is a family of businesses at the heart of the dairy and beef industry – Alta Genetics, GENEX, Genetics Australia, Leachman Cattle, Jetstream, PEAK, SCCL, Trans Ova Genetics and VAS.
