Aggie Animal Dental Center, part of Animal Outpatient Specialty Network, is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant with shared Client Service responsibilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a veterinary hospital and a strong commitment to client service and patient care. Requirements In this role, you will partner with our Client Service Representative (CSR) team to greet and welcome clients, answer phones, manage appointments, and maintain paperless records. You will prepare clients for exam room consultations, assist doctors during examinations, review treatment plans with clients, process invoices, and collect payments. On the clinical side, you will work alongside our technicians in the treatment area, compassionately restraining patients for IV catheter placement and venipunctures, assisting doctors during surgery as needed, and preparing discharge instructions for clients. Essential daily responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment, including surgical equipment and instruments, kennels, treatment areas, lobby, laundry, and restrooms. These efforts are vital to keeping our hospital running smoothly. A pleasant, professional demeanor is essential, as is a passion for helping pets and the people who love them.
