JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are delighted that we are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a natural ability to connect and build rapport with our customers, and is committed to delivering impeccable customer service. They will be positive, hard-working, and a proactive individual, with a team player mindset who enjoys a fast-paced working environment. Being part of a growing company there is plenty of scope to grow within the business depending on the skill set of the successful candidate.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ office-based customer service experience (essential)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel (essential)
  • Experience within the luxury goods / interior design industry (desirable)
  • A basic understanding of lighting (desirable)
  • Experience using ERP systems (desirable)
  • Experience working to deadlines and able to prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Able to work well both independently and within a team
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you would be the face of Visual Comfort Europe. You would be appointed a selection of customers to look after as their dedicated Customer Service Representative and be their main point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring your customers’ queries are dealt with promptly and accurately. You will also be responsible for overseeing your customers orders through to completion and beyond, taking ownership of any issues they may have, ensuring a swift resolution. You would also be responsible for ensuring all outstanding quotes are followed up and confirming orders to meet with company targets.

  • Being a primary point of contact for your own customers.
  • Raising quotes & orders received by email.
  • Liaising with other departments to push sales through to completion.
  • Keeping internal records updated accurately.
  • Offering alternatives when required.
  • Investigate how to improve lead times to secure orders.
  • Assisting with product enquiries, liaising with our Product Support team to best assist the customer.
  • Assisting customers to access and use our website.
