The opportunity This is a six-month part-time opportunity to join a small but busy team at the Ōmokoroa Library and Service Centre. You will be committed to delivering exceptional customer services and love working with people. This role will be worked from Wednesday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday 8.45am - 12.15pm. Saturday shifts are mainly based at our Katikati Library and Service Centre, and occasionally at Ōmokoroa Library and Service Centre. To set you up for success, you’ll have Genuine customer focus. A positive 'can do' attitude, and thrive in varied situations. A readiness to walk in our customers shoes and take the customer journey. Genuine empathy and respond to customers with patience, understanding, and respect. The aptitude to work cooperatively within a team, and yet autonomously. Plenty of common sense and initiative. Demonstrates the ability to maintain professionalism and impartiality when engaging with the community. Competency in the use of Microsoft products and document management. A high level of accuracy and an eye for detail. A current full driver's licence. Responsibilities
