THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a customer-focused superstar to join our Norton team as a Customer Service & Retail Sales Consultant, who will deliver comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales support for our Norton Livestock Handling Solutions products. In this role, you’ll be the key link between Norton and our customers, providing exceptional service by addressing enquiries both in person and over the phone.

THE FIT

We’re looking for an enthusiastic team-player with strong customer service experience, and some exposure to a manufacturing environment. You’ll need to be committed to delivering high standards of customer service and be able to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Proven experience in customer service or retail sales, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM software.
  • Knowledge of livestock equipment or the agricultural industry is advantageous.
  • Full, clean drivers’ license
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll get to experience the variety of a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You will engage with customers in our retail space - assisting them as they explore our product displays, collaborate with our on-site manufacturing team, spend time in the office managing quotes and orders, and venture out to customer properties to do on-site measures for custom products as part of your sales service.
Not only will you assist customers by providing information about our product ranges, you’ll also take ownership of the journey from start to finish - assisting customers in selecting the right products for their needs, entering quotes, processing transactions in the MYOB system, and ensuring smooth order coordination and delivery.
