ABOUT US:

Aran Island Ferries is an long-standing, well-renowned and award winning family owned business run by the O’Briens; who have an enduring relationship with the Aran Islands since commencing to trade turf there and carrying passengers (along with turf) in the early 1900s. Following the purchase of its first domestic ferry ‘Dun Aengus’ in 1983, with a passenger license on the west coast, the company has evolved and expanded it’s now multiple ferry capacity throughout the years ensuring a safe, comfortable journey for passengers - and with its most recent Ferry launch in 2021 “Saoirse na Farraige” – freedom of the sea having a capacity to seat up to 394 passengers. As well as regular scheduled sailings, the ferries are also available for private charter.

Hours: 40 hours weekly (Weekly Rostered - Mondays to Sundays)

Salary: Up to €30.000.00 per annum pro-rata
