About You:
As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to perform all essential duties at a high level of proficiency while guiding and supporting a team. Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the execution of user testing, ensuring smooth setup, teardown, data analysis, participant intake/outtake, and accurate documentation of participant experiences. You will guide the team in these tasks, ensuring efficiency and high standards.
- Deliver an outstanding experience for participants, while mentoring your team on how to effectively engage participants and guide them through prompts for data collection.
- Ensure the lab and its equipment are well-maintained and fully operational, delegating tasks as necessary to your team.
- Play a key role in participant recruitment, ensuring your team successfully targets and secures participants that meet the study’s demographic and research goals.
- Provide daily leadership and support to the User Research team, helping to manage workloads, distribute tasks, and ensure team members are meeting project objectives.
- Collaborate directly with the Project Manager, acting as the lead on-site representative. Your schedule will be pre-determined, and no vacation will be approved during the project’s duration. Your focus will be on ensuring the team meets participant quotas, is punctual, and fosters an environment where participants feel welcomed, engaged, and comfortable.
Education / Experience:
- High School diploma or College degree in a relevant field (e.g., research development, psychology, human-computer interaction, human factors, communications, market research, anthropology, or a related discipline).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team while making participants feel comfortable.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage both individual and team performance.
- A proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to tackle a variety of challenges and mentor your team through them.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and team members in a fast-paced, dynamic study environment.
Mandatory DBS and Credit Check Requirements:
- You must have no unspent criminal convictions.
- You must have no adverse credit history or County Court Judgments (CCJs).
Working Hours:
- You will work 5 days out of 7, Monday to Friday, with a leadership focus on managing team schedules and performance to meet project goals.
