    The Role
    MQ Health is seeking 2 x motivated individual to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as a Bookings Officer in our Medical Imaging Practice. You will be responsible for providing an essential service by assisting people with their medical imaging requests via incoming phone calls and emails.
    You will be provided with comprehensive training and work as part of a well-regarded, collaborative team who truly value patient care. The role requires a firm commitment to excellent customer service and patient-centred care.
    About You
    You will be an enthusiastic and professional individual who enjoys interacting with customers/patients to provide excellent customer service in every interaction. You will have previous reception and/or bookings experience in a healthcare setting using health-related software packages. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise work while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Accountabilities include (not limited to):

  • Answering high-volume of incoming phone calls
  • Providing customer service and answering enquiries from patients, medical practitioners and their rooms
  • Booking patient appointments and procedures in line with medical imaging requirements
  • Ensuring accurate data entry of patient information into the patient management system
  • Checking and replying to emails, voicemails and faxes in a timely manner
  • Preserving confidentiality and privacy of all patient information and records
  • Communicating and liaising with other administrative and health staff across clinics, hospitals and within MQ Health

  • Demonstrated sound verbal and written communication skills and ability to build rapport and empathise with patients
  • Demonstrated commitment to high level of customer service delivered in a professional manner at all times
  • Demonstrated reception and/or call centre experience (working within a medical practice or hospital setting will be highly regarded)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (such as RIS/Comrad - desirable)
