ABOUT THE ROLE:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for covering all aspects of our clients’ order management and working with our customers to innovatively meet their needs. Contributing to the CSR team is essential for individual, team and organizational success; the ideal incumbent would be comfortable and capable of identifying possible opportunities to improve processes, increasing any inefficiency and support cost savings initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate cargo Export moves with warehouses, rails, steam ship lines and customers.
- Creating orders and arrange deliveries for LTL.
- Completing any releases and guarantees for Imports where required.
- Using in house programing to arrange Export pickups, loadings and releases.
- Back up for other CSR staff.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE BELOW:
- Request all LTL delivery dates/appointments and ensure they are booked.
- Follow up on LTL deliveries if there are issues noted from Dispatch.
- Complete POD requests from customers.
- Create delivery orders in Logirack where required.
- Reply to all emails in a timely and precise manner.
- Assist on other accounts where required.
- Create load plans to move Export or Import cargo from our warehouse plus other warehouses.
- Update Dock Receipts to customers either on email or customer website.
- Assisting to enter information into Logirack Public from Dock Receipts.
- Uploading photos to files for customers.
- Scanning and provided documents to customers.
- Dock office coverage
- Print and accept tenders where needed from GFS inbox
- Contact GFS vendors to book appointments
- Create pick up orders and schedule in Logirack
- Check dock office report to confirm all POs are picked up, reschedule any that are required
- Assist dispatch with driver issues pertaining to GFS
- Assist GFS with questions on the pickup of PO’s
- Create load plans in Logirack
- Create load plan folders with BOL and spreadsheet
- Send load plan emails to GFS and carriers
- Assist other CSR with data entry in Logirack
- Other duties as assigned where required
