Daniel et Daniel Catering & Events, Toronto’s premier caterer is seeking a talented and passionate Baker to lead our skilled and dynamic team.
Daniel et Daniel operates in Toronto’s most exclusive venues including Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Evergreen Brickworks, Steam Whistle Brewery, The Royal Conservatory of Music, The Royal Ontario Museum and many more.
We are seeking an experienced, energetic and self-motivated individual to provide administrative support to our team.
Reports Directly to: the Managing Partners

Job Purpose: Primary: To be an ambassador for all incoming calls/emails to Daniel et Daniel, and to create a fluid work environment by channeling calls/email and orders appropriately (50%). Secondary: Support members of the sales team and Management by completing administrative tasks as required (50%). Tertiary: design, print, cut and frame event signage. Design and layout of digital promotional material for the website and venue partners.

  • Answer calls and walk in inquiries in a way that is consistent with the organization’s reputation and communication goals.
  • Field sales inquiries via phone, email and web/catering software. (Respond, qualify, follow up, distribute, reporting)
  • Assist Planners with maintaining and completing Sales Folder Checklist, including:
  • Processing of deposits
  • Booking Service Staff
  • Processing of SOPs
  • Communicating Signage Requirements
  • Issuing Staff Event notes
  • Manage Tasting Photos
  • File all data consistently and accurately
  • Prepare reports for event planners and management
  • Operate standard office equipment, including a personal computer, phone, fax, debit/credit card system, photocopier and catering software
  • Photo Gallery Management - up-loading, naming and filing photos including client

tastings, events and menu roll-outs

  • Order and maintain relevant office supplies.
  • Update all print materials and digital files as needed (to include but not limited to menus, signage, food lists, kitchen and/or food shop stickers, phone lists, client lists, venue lists).
  • Design, print, cut and/or frame event signage.
  • Frame inventory and storage maintenance.
  • Send daily order reminders to consultants and management
  • Order Runs - Running Production Copies to all departments (incl. new orders, changes, and collection of post event copies)
  • Assist management to design, write and edit various documents such as industry

awards, internal communications, company policies, employee bios, website content as needed.

  • Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal

appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety and AODA procedures

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and clientele
  • Participate and prepare, transcribe, compose, type, edit and distribute minutes and agendas of Operations & Sales meetings as required
