New Vision Psychology is a busy private psychology practice looking for a highly reliable and compassionate Customer Service Specialist to join our head office in the CBD.
This role requires native-level English proficiency. Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills are desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

A key component of this role is providing exceptional customer service while managing high volumes of phone calls and complex enquiries. We are looking for someone who has had experience in a busy call centre or as a health receptionist.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in mental health, motivation to develop an understanding of our psychologists’ skill sets, and a desire to support our clients get the most out of their time with us. You are seeking stable full-time employment, with opportunities for growth in the long-term. We will provide significant training and guidance for this role. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Be the first point of contact for our customers; answer complex mental health service phone enquires
  • Support clients by understanding their specific needs and matching them with the most suitable psychologist
  • Understand our psychologists’ therapeutic styles to place clients with the right practitioners
  • Answer and resolve complex enquiries including managing complaints
  • Take client bookings and schedule appointments
  • Liaise with psychologists, doctors and psychiatrists to facilitate referrals
  • Provide support to our team of 40+ psychologists
  • Collection of payments, debts and cancellation fees
  • Perform general administrative duties
