Job Summary: Supervise a team of customer service members to maintain the service and productivity levels of standards. Essential Functions: Supervise Customer Service staff Hire necessary staff force, prepare annual reviews, coordinate vacation schedules, evaluate and discipline staff Monitoring call hold time, production, and data entry Assist staff members with questions regarding interpretation of plan design and language, client, participant and provider questions Assist in random audits of staff calls Assist Team Lead with complicated issues Assist in the phone line queue as needed Handle projects that relate to the team Coordinate projects including setting up the phone queue systems and upcoming projects as needed Prepare, coordinate and revise procedures as needed Role model for employees Recognize and reward employee performance/results Nonessential Functions: Other duties as assigned or appropriate Education/Qualifications: Medical Terminology Previous experience in customer service call center Previous experience in leadership roles Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Excellent written/verbal communication skills College education and 2-4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
