Description

Our client is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator/Account Manager to add to their team! The company is continuing to grow year over year and are excited to add to their team here locally! If you have a strong understanding of Supply Chain, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

Work directly with suppliers on a daily basis - heavy email communication.
Order entry from customers - volume of orders will range depending on customer
Ensure pricing and lead times are communicated to customers accurately - keep track of changes in lead time and inventory coming in and out of the warehouse.
Basic forecasting of inventory
Run reports in the system and analyze data for customers
Expedite purchase orders
Monitor customer request dates to ensure on-time delivery
Provide status updates as needed.
Ability to troubleshoot discrepancies that may arise
Solicit shipping release for ready material
Solicit new orders from customers
Build relationships with customers to ensure their overall experience is positive.
Work heavily in Excel on a daily basis - building spreadsheets, importing/exporting data out of Excel, Pivot Tables, Vlook ups, etc.
