Description The Customer Service Support Specialist role combines frontline customer support with the specialized knowledge needed to support and execute government contract requirements. This position is responsible for building strong client relationships, managing multiple tasks efficiently, resolving customer inquiries, and supporting the government contracts team with daily operations. Customer Service Duties: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, Quotes, and Sales Orders Provide timely and effective support via phone, email, and other channels. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally. Process orders, quotes and coordinate with the production and logistics team Provide accurate information about products and services. Maintain customer records and update account information as needed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Resolve complaints and follow-up with customer resolution and corrective action. Government Contracts Duties: Support the Government Contracts manager with proposal preparation, submission of invoices, entering orders, compliance tracking, and reporting. Motoring government contracts bid portals. Maintain government lab test, shade results and component test reports. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contract requirements are met. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all contracts. Requirements Education & Experience 2-year college degree 3-5 years customer service experience Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent Excel skills, PowerPoint knowledge a plus Shipping or logistics knowledge preferred. Experience with international shipping requirements a plus Must be detail oriented.
