TEAM LEADER

Our client is seeking an energetic and forward-thinking Team Leader to take charge of one of their core operational teams. This role plays a central part in ensuring high standards of service, maintaining smooth day-to-day operations, and cultivating a strong customer-first culture.
The successful candidate will oversee the collection of outstanding monies, manage operational delivery, and continuously drive improvements in service. By providing clear leadership, coaching, and performance management, you will help your team to develop, embrace innovation, and foster a culture of learning and growth.

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES

  • Inspire and guide team members through regular one-to-ones, coaching sessions, and tailored development plans
  • Hold team meetings to track progress, set expectations, and promote accountability and continuous improvement
  • Oversee workload management, scheduling, and project delivery to maintain consistent service levels
  • Monitor and report on team performance using KPIs, audits, and analysis for senior management
  • Drive process enhancements that improve efficiency and the customer journey
  • Resolve escalated or complex queries, ensuring a balance between customer satisfaction and business priorities
  • Manage the accurate and timely collection of monies, including handling escalations where required
  • Ensure accurate updates to records, maintaining compliance at all times
  • Act as the first point of contact for complaints, ensuring fair and timely resolution
  • Maintain systems and records in line with GDPR and regulatory standards
  • Support wider departmental planning and contribute to financial and operational goals
  • Provide flexibility and assistance across the team and business when needed
