Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, preferred. Experience: Prior warranty customer service and construction field experience strongly preferred. How You Will Contribute: As a Simplicity by Hayden Homes Customer Service Technician, you will provide unparalleled customer experience throughout your region. You will ensure quality completion of homes and readiness for New Home Orientations and respond to customer warranty requests promptly to ensure completion of warranty items on time, on budget, and to our quality standards. Responsibilities Include: * Customer Service: Interacts with customers, participates in New Home Orientations (NHO) and ensures all service and warranty issues are addressed. * Technical:  Diagnoses customer service and warranty requests and identifies and selects the appropriate course of action.   * Customer Experience:  Manages the daily operations of Simplicity Customer Service within their assigned region to create an unparalleled home buying experience.  * Service Request Management: Addresses customer warranty requests, manages subcontractors, and follows up with customers at regular intervals during the warranty period.  How You Will Succeed: You consistently provide a high level of customer service using established systems and processes to ensure quality work and timely completion of tasks. You seek information to make informed decisions. You maintain composure and resiliency while managing conflict. You are an active listener and strong communicator who can work collaboratively within a team environment. What You Can Offer: Skills * Exceptional customer service skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, and Excel. * Hands-on repair skills and knowledge of basic construction procedures. Abilities * Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, to various audiences. * Ability to self-direct, be resourceful, and meet deadlines with professional, quality results. * Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to work with suppliers, trades, customers, and internal team members to discuss and document requirements/changes, address concerns and provide timely project status. * Ability to creatively solve problems and work under time constraints while functioning at a high level of effectiveness. * Ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of the organization as well as build relationships with outside resources.  Experience * At least 2 years of construction-related experience and prior customer service experience and/or Warranty experience are strongly preferred.
