Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Customer Services Apprentice, you will be the first point of contact for residents, assisting with enquiries either face-to-face, by email or by telephone. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring that every interaction is professional, respectful, and helpful.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deal with public enquiries in a polite and tactful manner.
  • Accurately gather and establish facts to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Follow procedures and absorb latest information quickly.
  • Use Windows-based systems confidently; basic keyboard and admin skills required.
  • Undertake basic calculations (e.g. adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
  • Take concise and accurate interview notes.
  • Complete administration tasks including scanning, addressing, and indexing documents.
  • Support service delivery during busy periods, which may require adjusted working hours.
