Key responsibilities include managing reception operations, handling inquiries, coordinating facility bookings, and supporting programs and events. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends. Reports to: Operations Manager, RMIT Active Hub Indirectly Reports to: Customer Services Coordinator, RMIT Active Hub Your Responsibilities Deliver a wide range of frontline services at the RMIT Active Hub reception, including check-in/check-out, facility bookings, equipment lending, and event support Respond promptly and accurately to requests, bookings, and inquiries via the service mailbox Maintain and update facility bookings and schedules across multiple channels for user accessibility Collect and track operational data for reporting and continuous improvement Promote and provide accurate information about programs, events, and activities at the Active Hub Coordinate with stakeholders to arrange facilities and logistics for events and activities hosted at RMIT Active Hub Administer first aid in emergency situations until professional medical assistance arrives. Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager, RMIT Active Hub. Key Selection Criteria College degree in a relevant field is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Proven experience (1-2 years preferrable) in customer service with a positive, adaptable attitude. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail. Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) in a multicultural environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
