The role responds to customer requirements, enforces product quality/performance specification, and supports new product/application development. The Customer Site Service Representative II (CSSR II) will provide on-site expertise of product performance including color management, defect identification, and corrective action if necessary. S/he will develop and support customer relationships. The role supports the efforts of a BASF sales/technical team to assure value to the customer for product technical support, problem investigation, analysis and resolution. Providing on-site technical and application expertise of product performance including color management, defect identification, and corrective action if necessary. High school diploma required, advanced degree preferred. Utilizing your inventory control/ERP knowledge you will collect and analyze data and apply results to make material and/or process recommendations. Your strong attention to detail will allow you to continuously inspect and evaluate painted units for defects (e.g., sags, thin paint, drip craters and for proper topcoat application). Your excellent interpersonal skills will help you with interactions with the team and management at our customer facility. Your strong leadership ability will allow you to run a shift on your own with minimal supervision.
