QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of telecom or networking experience with advanced knowledge of SD-WAN, SSE, and SASE.
  • Pre-sales engineering or solutions consulting experience required.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Fortinet, BigLeaf, VeloCloud, Check Point, Cato, Ubiquiti, Zscaler, Palo Alto (or equivalent) UCaaS, CCaaS and other SIP /VoIP platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to simplify complex concepts.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite; certifications (CCNA, NSE, Zscaler, AWS, etc.) preferred.
  • BA/BS degree a plus.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Customer Solutions Architect is the technical expert supporting the sales and operations process, working closely with sales teams and prospective clients to design and deliver modern connectivity and security solutions. You’ll articulate the value of SD-WAN, Secure Service Edge (SSE), and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) across NHC’s telecom and cloud portfolio by leading presentations, workshops, RFP/RFI responses, and guiding customers through evaluation, implementation, and adoption. This position will be covering the Pacific Time Zone so must be based on the West Coast.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with sales to design tailored SD-WAN, SSE, and SASE solutions with vendors such as Fortinet, BigLeaf, VeloCloud, Check Point, Cato, Ubiquiti, Zscaler, Palo Alto, and others.
  • Deliver technical presentations, demos, and training to customers, partners, and sales teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, explaining Zero Trust, Cloud Security, and Next-Gen WAN concepts.
  • Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFIs and support solution design and integration.
  • Provide feedback to product/engineering teams and assist with implementation support.
  • Stay current on NHC’s offerings, vendor ecosystem, and evolving industry trends.
