Overview As a Customer Success Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer success outcomes. This is an opportunity designed for individuals passionate about technology, customer engagement, and delivering business value. The Customer Success Account Manager (CSAM) is the primary delivery leader and trusted advisor for Microsoft’s strategic customers. CSAMs orchestrate cross-functional teams across Microsoft and partners to accelerate customer value realization from Microsoft’s cloud platforms. By combining technical expertise, business acumen, and deep customer insight, CSAMs lead post-sales delivery and support, ensuring alignment to customer priorities and driving adoption, consumption, and operational health across the digital cloud platform. Responsibilities Build trusted relationships with customers and partners. Support account planning and execution to accelerate digital transformation. Manage day-to-day customer success activities, including milestone and project tracking, escalations, and proactive risk management. Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Sales, and Support) to deliver seamless customer experiences. Contribute to consumption growth and adoption of Microsoft cloud solutions. Drive health, resiliency, and security initiatives with customers to ensure robust, sustainable, and secure environments aligned to best practices. Drive Microsoft Unified Sales Success Programs Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Master's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience OR equivalent experience. Additional or preferred qualifications Master's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science or related field AND 8+ years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience OR equivalent experience.3+ years relevant work experience within customer industry. Microsoft or competitor equivalent (e.g., AWS) certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, 365).Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or equivalent service management certification. Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent Project Management certification.Prosci or equivalent certification.
