JOB SUMMARY

Function of this role is to support the Multi-Unit Sales managers and directors by assisting in the management of LTO’s, Test Products, New Country Openings and New Product Introductions for Sysco IFG’s chain customers. This role enables our sales team to continue to grow relationships with our large chain customers resulting in build sales and open more restaurants. Primary focus will be assisting the CMU leadership team in day-to-day activities and developing small chains.

EDUCATION

  • HSD/GED, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • 4 years of sales related experience within the food industry.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to improve customer value propositions and relationships with Sysco IFG top restaurant chains.
  • Ability to work with MU Manager, restaurant supply chain personnel, and franchisees to develop new business solutions.
  • Basic Understanding of international logistics and country compliance regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage chain restaurant promotions, product tests, and new product launches. Provide status updates to the IFG Team and appropriate supply chain brand representative. Coordinate Samples for launches and customer specific requests.
  • Execute against set implemented plans to increase sales with existing customers. Opportunities include new products, vendor direct, small wares and equipment, ocean freight logistics etc. Collaborate with CMU Manager and then RMM’s for suggestions.
  • Customer problem resolution assistance through partnership with Regional Sales Managers and other functional areas including Merchandising, Logistics, Operations and Finance.
  • KPI generation on brand fill rates, on time deliveries, customer claims
  • Management of brand limited time offerings, order guides, Sysco Shop compliance updates and coordination of onboarding for new brands
  • Assist and track all CMU events
