JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for the position of Customer Support Advisor to join our successful Aftersales team based at Head Office in Gillingham. The role requires a determined and proactive team player who thrives in a busy and fast paced working environment and will act as the main point of contact for our customers and third-party garages, ensuring a streamlined booking process for customers. The position will be to join our National Outbound team within the Aftersales department.

ESSENTIAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous Customer Service experience
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
  • Exceptional Telephone Manner
  • Organised and Punctual
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to solve problems

Preferred Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience in the Motor trade

Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound customer enquiries for booking requests outside of our approved garage network.
  • Source and coordinate bookings with local garages, selecting suitable providers based on location, availability and repair requirements.
  • Liaise with the technical team to assess repair needs, verify work and obtain authorisation for necessary repairs.
  • Act as the key point of contact between customers and garages, ensuring clear communication, authorisation of repairs and the timely completion of work.
  • Provide updates to customers with vehicles in third-party garages, maintaining a high standard of service and transparency.
  • Manage payment arrangements and ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and effectively.
