Description As the first contact for callers, to support the Bank customers in a professional, friendly, courteous and confident manner. To assist customers with account concerns and information on Bank services available and deal diplomatically with customer complaints. Perform a variety of duties in a branch support and clerical capacity. Comply with regulations and policies of Bank as established. Provide administrative support including special projects. Comply with regulations and policies of Bank as established. Requirements PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES May perform any or all of the following duties: 1. Respond to incoming calls and direct to proper department for assistance. 2. Respond to customers and vendors and direct to proper department for assistance. 3. Document drafting, report preparation and document verification as needed. 4. Clerical and filing duties as needed. 5. Handle customer support inquiries, as well as researching and resolving customer concerns via telephone and mail. 6. Act as the customer liaison between other Bank departments when necessary. 7. Assist customers and employees with inquiries and issues related to deposit accounts (excluding IRA and HSA), loans, debit/ATM cards and electronic banking products. 8. Cross-sell Bank products and services based on the needs of the customer, as well as meet sales and referral goals as assigned. 9. Maintain, update, and verify customer and account maintenance. 10. Provide feedback to management of critical issues, interest, and concerns of customer to support ongoing efforts to improve products and services. 11. Assist customers and employees with inquiries and issues related to deceased customers. 12. Perform Banker duties if staffing demands require. 13. Perform other duties as assigned. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Follow First Federal Bank of Wisconsin policies and procedures. Follow all state and federal banking regulations. REQUIREMENTS / CORE COMPETENCIES High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one year financial service experience. General clerical experience. Accuracy and attention to detail. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Sound knowledge of Bank financial services and philosophy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. Ability to prioritize, aptitude for detail work, good communication and listening skills. Tact and diplomacy in dealing with both customers and employees. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Pleasant telephone manner. Problem solving skills. Flexibility and ability to multitask.
