JOB TITLE: CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

SUMMARY: ACS is looking for associates to join our Sales Support team. This is an opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced environment and learn Sales and Distribution from every angle, with multiple paths for career advancement.
ACS is a value-added distributor in a growing industry and the Sales Support team plays a crucial role in our operations by facilitating the sales process through daily customer interactions. This position works in cooperation with our Outside Sales team, in addition to collaborating with other ACS departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two-year associate’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Two years of customer service or inside sales experience a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce a plus
  • Proficient in Office 365, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus to meet deadlines
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels

Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls and emails.
  • Log calls and update pertinent customer data in CRM.
  • Provide product support, including technical support and the distribution of materials such as flyers, catalogs, etc.
  • Perform order entry.
  • Support order processing, tracking, and delivery coordination.
  • Provide support to the Outside Sales team, including preparing customer quotes, processing RMAs, and participating in conference calls.
  • Make outreach calls to current customers to recommend products, boost sales and foster relationships.
  • May have the opportunity to participate in local trade shows.
  • Other related duties as assigned by management.
