Role Overview At HelloGov AI, 90% of customer interactions are handled by our AI platform. You’ll join a dedicated team of about 25 specialists who manage the escalation and callback cases that require a human touch. As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll provide fast, clear, and compassionate assistance over the phone, managing a high volume of outbound calls (200+ per day) while maintaining quality and professionalism. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment and wants to grow with a rapidly scaling AI company. Responsibilities Handle AI-assigned escalation calls, resolving customer concerns quickly and empathetically. Guide customers through government service applications (e.g., passports, visas, registrations). Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and empathy on every call. Document customer insights to help improve AI workflows and the user experience. Collaborate closely with teammates and product teams to identify patterns and refine processes. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing or call center environment (high volume preferred). Strong verbal communication and professional phone presence. Comfortable using CRM and AI-driven tools (training provided). Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform under pressure. Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on problem-solving. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (background check required).
