POSITION SUMMARY Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and/or clients by serving as subject matter expert, an internal advocate and a client liaison. Provide sales and marketing support to maintain customer satisfaction and improve and sustain business growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Interact with customers by phone, electronic mail or in person to provide basic or advanced information in response to inquiries about orders, accounts or details of complaints. * Maintain records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details or inquiries, complaints or comments and actions taken. * Process Requests for Quote (RFQ) and track progress. * Perform contract review, acknowledge customer purchase orders and facilitate information to applicable departments. * Perform data-entry of purchase orders in applicable systems. * Keep customer updated on status of delivery, potential delivery deadline misses and/or movement. * Provide customer feedback to appropriate internal parties, including production, engineering, supply chain, etc. * Assist in troubleshooting customer inquiries and/or complaints. * Maintain regular communication with customers. * Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephone calls and handling routine correspondence. * Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback. * Other duties as assigned, requested or needed. Education and Experience: * High school diploma or General Education Development (GED). * Minimum 3 years general customer service/administrative support experience in manufacturing environment preferred or equivalent of education and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Ability to operate computers programmed with software and or Microsoft office. * Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions. * Ability to maintain and engage in active listening. * Strong customer service orientation. * Ability to maintain organized files and workspace.
