Description

This role is based in Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch. This role is pivotal in leading continuous improvement and change initiatives that support our evolving ways of working. What you’ll be doing: As our Customer Way Delivery and Change Lead, you will: · Manage and deliver continuous improvement projects for the Customer Way, ensuring clarity of priorities for front line leaders and teams. · Use best practice project management and change strategies to align stakeholders and drive ongoing value delivery. · Document and communicate the Customer Way programme of work, creating transparency and reducing cognitive overload for teams. · Develop, own, and embed change management plans alongside projects and workstreams. · Partner with Strategy & Programme and Communications teams to leverage NZTE’s best practice approaches. · Build strong relationships across the business, ensuring change is well-embedded and projects are streamlined. · Ensure all project documentation is aligned, risks are captured, and lessons learnt are reported to the Director, Customer Way Operations. What you’ll need to be successful: You'll be an experienced project and change leader with: · Proven experience in end-to-end management of continuous improvement projects in a global organisation. · Demonstrated expertise in Change Management (ideally with a relevant qualification). · Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide outcomes across teams. · Experience in project and programme management methodologies and best practice. · Excellent interpersonal skills—able to communicate clearly, create clarity amongst complexity, and navigate ambiguity and conflict with confidence. · Adaptability, creativity, and calmness under pressure. · High emotional intelligence to work with diverse stakeholders and priorities.
