Customization Associate - Weekend Shift Department: Customization Employment Type: Full Time Location: Columbia, Missouri Description We’re on the lookout for a Full-Time Customization Associate to join us at Columbia Safety & Supply! As a Customization Associate, you’ll play a key role in fulfilling client orders for customized products—ensuring every detail is just right. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality results efficiently and taking pride in the final product. This role involves managing the day-to-day flow of customized items, clearly communicating needs, and helping troubleshoot and resolve any issues that come up. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, works well with others, and is committed to top-notch output. ***The hours for this role are Friday - Sunday, 7 am - 8 pm *** Key Responsibilities Set up, clean, maintain, calibrate, and adjust embroidery machines for optimal performance Select the appropriate art files, thread, needles, and backing to meet design and quality standards Hoop products and load/unload items efficiently to ensure consistent output Monitor runs and troubleshoot any issues to maintain design integrity and product quality Record machine settings and materials used on new designs to ensure consistency for future orders Trim, fold, package, and stage completed products according to order requirements and quality expectations Take part in ongoing training—and help train others—to grow skills in customization and support cross-training across departments Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organized with regular daily upkeep Support a smooth, efficient, and high-quality customization process through all assigned tasks Skills Knowledge and Expertise Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset Exceptional organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with a sense of urgency Work with us!
