Description Position Summary: The Customized Employment Manager leads and oversees customized employment services for individuals served by Community Based Services of The Moore Center. This Manager ensures individualized, person-centered job development and long-term supports that align with each participant’s strengths, interests, and support needs. PAY: $23/hr. Essential Responsibilities: Hire, mentor, train, supervise and support Employment Specialists, Direct Support Professionals and Job Coaches of the Customized Employment Program Build and grow community networks that lead to employment opportunities for our clients Assist in recruitment/hiring and training of staff for the Customized Employment Program Ensure accurate billing of employment contracts Communicate with, educate and support employers who work with individuals of The Moore Center Work with programs and teams to develop innovative and individualized service options for clients Meet with employers/families/teams as needed Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements Qualifications: Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Services or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of management experience Minimum of 2 years of experience working with people with disabilities in employment settings Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems Valid driver’s license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours Skills and abilities Demonstrate a commitment to The Moore Center’s values Comply with all state, agency and department policies and procedures Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to confidently present to community members about employment Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to master new software Excellent organization and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities and ensure timely follow-through Strong customer services skills Demonstrate the ability to encourage and motivate people Ability to think critically and make decisions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems
