Responsibilities Operate the customs & trade and logistics processes for the CARICAM cluster seeking to achieve these operations timely and in due form. Carry out daily contact with customs brokers and transportation suppliers and assuring the correct export from Mexico of all materials and finished goods always complying with government requirements and avoiding government audits. Carry out activities to guarantee the operational continuity for all CARICAM imports, assure that the lead times are met, and the product arrives on time for the designated destination plant and country by arranging all communications, logistics and compliance tasks. Deliver service and fill rate standards by coordinating the best export alternatives and scorecard monitoring for finished goods to LATAM, minimizing exporter’s liability by effective compliance and communication. Collaborate with planning teams to assure the availability of product throughout the region operating both direct and indirect orders, coordinating transportation in communication with couriers and local supply chain teams. Support all the import processes for Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean Islands coming from Mexico and the US . Follow up on the invoice payment for both forwarders and customs brokers operating the CARICAM import and export operation, securing a correct operational flow and invoice statements. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related. Advanced English (required). Experience in import/export processes and regulations. Knowledge of international trade compliance (FDA, customs, legal and fiscal regulations). Understanding of international logistics (ocean, air, and land transportation). Strong analytical skills and experience in reporting. Communication and Negotiation skills.
