Job Description Major Duties and Responsibilities A Customs Brokerage Agent will be expected to ensure timely and accurate operations while providing exceptional customer service within the Brokerage Department. Daily execution of workflow and department metrics Enter declaration information from documents, or other sources into our customs entry system Follow, update and create SOP's for client requirements Actively seek efficiency and contribute ideas for enhancement of work product Accurate and timely invoicing and strong understanding of payable process Build and maintain strong relationships with the customers and government organizations Ensure compliance to regulations at all times, both internal and external Identify and manage exceptions while also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Effectively manage and organize emails for timely follow up Collaborate with and support the team in a positive manner Qualifications 4 year College Degree Customer Service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Critical Thinking and problem solving skills Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results Pro-active, strong organizational skills Strong desire to learn Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Fluent in English Reporting Structure Customs Brokerage Lead Agent, Supervisor and Manager Additional Information Expected pay range for this position: $23.00-$25.00 per hour.
