Job Description ***Duration*** We are seeking a Post Entry Brokerage Agent for a fixed-term assignment until December 31, 2026 or until the work is completed, whichever is sooner. **Position is open for Full-Time, Part-Time and Internships** SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Ensure timely and accurate transmission and monitoring of post entry activity, while providing exceptional customer service. Tasks and Duties Understand all the elements of the import customs standard operations procedures and correctly interpret this information to fulfill our customer´s instructions and expectations. Understanding and use of Expeditors’ operations system and tools such as workboard, exp.o Customs, Raft, CFIT, etc Transfer customs declaration information from documents, or other sources into the customs entry system to allow for the building of a valid customs declaration Ensure proper and timely filing of Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), protests, 520(d)s, petitions, supplemental duty tenders, etc., in accordance with regulatory, Operational Performance Standards (OPS) and corporate guidelines. This includes: Perform entry status queries and assemble all documentation from the customer Make corrections to the entry summary Review to ensure corrections are applicable for the requested changes (e.g., chapter 99 tariff headers are inserted for the right lines in the correct order) Prepare narratives for PSCs or for protests. Importer will review and provide final approval. Review and obtain supporting documentation for the PSC reason, Protest, 520(D) (e.g., product specifications and photos to support HTS classification changes, purchase orders to support valuation changes, binding rulings, or certificates of origin with elements indicated in the appropriate General Note related to the FTA etc.) Transmit the PSC via ABI for each declaration that requires correction Upload full entry document packages to DIS (Document Imaging System) or the CBP ACE Protest Module for each declaration Provide additional information to CBP as required (e.g., specialized line-item reporting) Monitor the PSC until it is accepted by CBP Provide status reports and regular notifications to the importer after PSC, Protest or 520(D) is filed Manage all post entry activities, from start to finish, using Post Entry Management Application (PEMA) Ensure accurate and timely data entry into Expeditors’ operational system Ensure compliance at all times to regulations Ensure accurate and timely client billing Provide excellent customer service Qualifications WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING TO US : US Licensed Customs Broker (preferable) Certified Import Clearance Specialist Certified (preferable) US Customs Brokerage experience Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word) Fluent in English Additional Information Expeditors offers excellent benefits: Paid Vacation, Holiday, Sick Time Health Plan: Medical Life Insurance Employee Stock Purchase Plan Training and Personnel Development Program Growth opportunities within the company Employee Referral Program Bonus
