Primary Location: Bonn, Germany (Relocation Assistance Available)
Other Locations: We welcome applications from candidates located within a 5-hour time difference from the EU.

Purpose of the Role:
As the Customs Brokerage Lead, you will support the design and implementation of our CW1 (CargoWise) customs solution. You will play a key role in transforming business requirements into effective processes and solutions, ensuring that our customs operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our global standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the rollout of the CW1 customs solution, collaborating with country teams to gather requirements and ensure accurate testing.
- Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with legal and fiscal requirements while maximizing productivity and minimizing errors.
- Provide technical solutions through CW1, integrating data into the system and offering 3rd level support for incidents raised by end users.
- Review system updates from CW1 every three months to ensure they do not impact current solutions.
- Engage with Product and Customs teams on various tools, addressing customer-specific and country-specific transportation requirements.
- Conduct training and documentation for newly delivered processes, ensuring smooth adoption across teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in import/export customs processes, with a strong background in customs brokerage. Experience in various countries is highly valued.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of customs processes and regulations.
- Familiarity with CW1 and its applications in forwarding and brokerage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to international audiences and adapt to different time zones.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and the ability to identify trends and propose effective solutions.
- Fluent in English.
