SUMMARY OF THE ROLE In this role you will handle & verify all required documents for import operation shipments by ensuring documents & payments are efficiently completed from internal stakeholders (Treasury & Purchasing) and follow up on all Customs Clearance day-to-day activities for overseas shipments to ensure their alignment with Jotun objectives, policies, and procedures. Follow up on import shipment documents (CargoX, banking, purchasing) and initiate customs clearance. Coordinate inbound purchase orders, systematic receiving, and transfers to final destinations in line with operations schedules. Communicate with suppliers on freight status, including tracking, routing, dispatching, and rate quotations. Ensure all customs-related activities and documentation comply with policies, procedures, and shipment timelines. Participate in planning processes with internal stakeholders. Support the Purchasing Manager in evaluating logistics solutions (packaging, lot size, distributors, transport, customs regulations, local laws). Assist in updating local purchasing parameters and ensuring accurate supplier invoice control and timely payments. Monitor, follow up, and report KPIs to the Purchasing Manager, ensuring zero demurrage. Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic & English.
