• Prepare and submit import/export documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
• Calculate duties, taxes, and fees, verifying accuracy and minimizing potential financial discrepancies.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely cargo clearance.
• Monitor shipment statuses, proactively addressing any delays or issues that may arise during the clearance process.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates holding a degree in logistics or a related field.
• Demonstrates proficiency in relevant customs software and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Holds a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customs clearance or a related role within the freight forwarding industry.
• Exhibits a strong understanding of international trade regulations, including HS codes, valuation, and origin rules.
