Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

Our team based in Aberdeen is on the lookout for a dynamic Customs Coordinator to help us navigate the exciting world of international trade! If you’re experienced in customs clearances and have a passion for making things run smoothly, we want you to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Air, Ocean, and Road Freight customers, ensuring their shipments are cleared and on the move in no time!
For this role, you will work on a rotating schedule, alternating weekly between 06:00–14:30 and 12:00–20:30 shifts. Additionally, you will be required to work one weekend day per month.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Customs Team Leader, you will ensure all customs clearances are actioned on goods exiting the UK. You will complete import and export declarations and transit movements ensuring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is maintained to prevent any errors or oversights on documentation.
This role will require regular communication and engagement with the customers, so you’ll need to build and maintain first-class, long-lasting relationships with them and be on hand to support at each stage of the process. You will support all growth and actively participate in creating innovative solutions and share best practice and knowledge.
