JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose: To ensure the timely review and submission of documentation needed for Importer Security Filings on cargo destine to The United States.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Pro-active approach
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Experience with MS Excel, MS Word
  • Fluent in English
  • Authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the transmission of data and documents needed to US customs prior to cargo departure from overseas
  • Print documents to the appropriate file and label them properly
  • Utilize machine learning programs to pull data elements from documents
  • Monitor and resolve and discrepancies on filings made
  • Utilize and manage multiple email boxes to ensure the timely response to inquires
  • Manage internal and external reports as required
  • Support customers with understanding of the requirements necessary for timely and accurate filings.
