To complement our operations team, we are looking for an Customs & Documentation Coordinator to join our team in Moerdijk (NL) on a full time permanent basis.
This position is required to perform a variety of administrative work, including, but not limited to copying and filing. The person in this role should be able to work unsupervised in a busy and demanding environment. The individual in this role will also liaise directly with customers, sub-contractors, and government officials where necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for receiving and verifying all incoming customs/police/tax documents.
  • Record/process all received documents into sale site, titles, etc.
  • Amend any document discrepancies with relevant authorities.
  • File (digital, or hardcopy) all documents.
  • Conduct/request lien searches where required.
  • Maintain a register of missing documents and communicate such to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain a balance sheet for duty reconciliations.
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, local transport companies, etc. Pre-sale, day of auction and post-sale.
  • Respond to customer enquiries pre-sale, day of sale and post-sale.
  • Assist customers with registrations and inquiries day of auction.
  • Ensure post-sale documents are ready for buyers to collect.
  • Post – Sale prepares release documentation in accordance with local requirements.
  • Monitor, record and file all outgoing documentation.
  • Assist customers with title discrepancies, post-sale.
  • Administer and record buyer, consignor, and local authority refunds
  • Oversee all local customs/tax audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
