Navco Logistics, LLC is a U.S. Customs Brokerage, Consulting, Warehousing, and 3PL firm. We currently have a unique employment opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customs Entry Specialist. This role is critical in ensuring compliant, timely, and accurate handling of customs entries and related documentation, supporting our brokerage operations, and helping us grow our business.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–3 years of U.S. Customs entry-writing experience (required).
  • Knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS classification, PGA filings, and import processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Prior brokerage software or ABI system experience required.

Responsibilities
  • Customs Entry Filing: Prepare and process U.S. Customs entries (including Type 01, 06, 21, 31, 214), ensuring compliance with all CBP regulations.
  • HTS Classification: Research and apply proper tariff classifications, duty rates, and applicable trade programs.
  • Document Review: Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and other import/export documents for accuracy.
  • Client & Customs Communication: Serve as a point of contact with CBP, clients, and carriers regarding entry status, holds, and compliance matters.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate electronic and physical files for all entry-related documentation, ensuring compliance with CBP’s record retention requirements.
  • Support Operations: Assist administrative staff as needed, including phones, filing, and general office organization.
