For our Finance Team we are currently looking for an Customs Expert We are a multinational group with extensive cross-border operations and a diverse range of trade schemes worldwide. We are seeking an ambitious Customs Expert to join our Global Customs team and lead the support customs operations in EMEA countries. This role offers significant exposure to a dynamic and growing EMEA business with high potential. Responsibilities in this role will be: Individual accountabilities * Coordinate all aspects of customs operations in EMEA countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations. * Provide expert support in tariff classification, rules of origin, customs valuation and other customs-related topics for all imported and exported goods. * Collaborate closely with the Global Customs team to ensure consistent application of global policies and procedures, and contribute to their development. * Work with local EMEA sites to ensure smooth customs processes and support operational needs. * Ensure that the company's controls, policies and procedures are all understood & followed and implemented accordingly. * Coordinate customs data management, ensuring accurate collection, storage, and analysis to support compliance and decision-making. * Cooperate with external customs brokers and internal stakeholders to manage customs filings, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with EMEA countires’ regulations. * Maintain high-quality standards and attention to detail in all customs-related activities. * Keep up-to-date with changes in EMEA customs law, trade regulations, and compliance requirements. * Partner with other teams – Operations, Legal, Finance to ensure overall Group compliance * The role supports all customs operations in EMEA countries across approximately 10 manufacturing units, handling a high volume of cross-border transactions.   We are looking for you to have: * Master’s degree in business/finance/law or other relevant field. * Min. 5 years of proven experience in customs operations. * Knowledge of EU customs legislation; knowledge of customs legislation in other EMEA jurisdictions will be an asset. * Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work. * Strong communication and project management skills. * Expertise in customs data management within ERP systems will be highly valued. * A customs broker license is welcome as a demonstration of technical knowledge, but it is not required for this role. We are looking for customs knowledge expert with a broad operational and analythical expertise.  * MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint). * Experience in multicultural environment and matrix organization   The benefits of working at AMMEGA go beyond the daily work.
