Description

The Customs Manager is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance in all foreign trade activities, including imports, exports, tariff classification, origin controls, and local and international customs regulations. He or she acts as a liaison between the company and regulatory authorities, ensuring that commercial operations are conducted in compliance with current laws.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Law, or Business
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields
  • Knowledge of customs management tools and software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Professional and courteous demeanor

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain international trade compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export and import controls, trade sanctions, and documentation requirements.
  • Manage the customs tariff classification of products
  • Supervise and train the customs team on compliance issues.
  • Establish relationships with customs authorities, customs brokers, and other key partners.
  • Monitor regulatory changes at the national and international levels
  • Manage export/import licenses, certificates of origin, and relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits related to international trade.
  • Conduct risk analyses and action plans to prevent sanctions or delays in the supply chain.
  • Support expansion projects focus on regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
