Job Description BME Fire Trucks is seeking Detailer to help work on our Fire Apparatus. As a Detailer your responsibilities will include: Color sanding to remove imperfections and orange peel Machine polishing of the sanded clearcoat Post-polishing residue clean-up Defect inspection of painted surfaces Requirements WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE: understanding of the paint detail process 1-2 years auto detailing experience BONUS POINTS FOR: Completion of vocational schooling This is a full-time permanent position located on site in Boise, Idaho. Responsibilities
The Detailer will be responsible for color sanding painted surfaces to eliminate imperfections and orange peel, followed by machine polishing of the sanded clearcoat. Responsibilities also include post-polishing residue clean-up and performing defect inspections on painted surfaces of the fire apparatus.
