As the Cut Fruit Supervisor, you will oversee the cut fruit department, ensuring that high standards of freshness, presentation, and safety are met. You will lead a team in preparing, packaging, and displaying a variety of cut fruits while providing outstanding customer service. Ensure all cut fruit is prepared, packaged, and displayed according to company standards for quality and presentation. Train and mentor team members on food safety practices and proper cutting techniques. Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and manage waste effectively. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and address any inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the preparation area and ensure compliance with health regulations. Implement promotional displays and strategies to enhance sales of cut fruit products. Previous experience in a supervisory role within a grocery or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of fruit preparation techniques and food safety standards. Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team. Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
