Description Position Title: Cut Saw Operator Reports To: Mill Production Manager Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday About the Role We’re looking for a dependable, safety-driven team member to join our Milling department as a Cut Saw Operator. In this role, you’ll operate a CNC-assisted cut saw (very simple “push go/stop” operation), inspect material, and help prepare precise Lineal wood components used in cabinet production. Basic understanding of wood grain and species is very helpful. If you enjoy hands-on, consistent work, and are looking for a stable indoor weekday schedule, this is a great fit, especially for someone with basic construction experience who is ready for a year-round role with predictable hours. What You’ll Do Read and interpret production order specifications and tags Inspect lumber for knots or defects and mark materials for accuracy Feed material through the CNC-assisted cut saw system Follow established production standards, safety rules, and department procedures Perform repetitive motions and maintain accuracy across high-volume tasks Use production tools such as tape measures, calipers, wrenches, and screwdrivers Work collaboratively with your team to meet daily goals Complete machine-specific training before operating equipment Requirements What You Bring General Strong focus on SAFETY Attention to DETAIL - we follow specific work instructions - all work must be completed with accuracy and efficiency GROWTH mindset and TEAM focus- ready to learn and lend a helping hand English communication skills (reading, speaking, and understanding) to perform essential job duties such as following safety procedures, reading production documentation, and communicating with team members, leads, and supervisors Specific Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and work-order tags Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately Manufacturing experience (preferred) OMGA Operator Experience (preferred, not required — we train!) Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Work Environment This position is in an active manufacturing area. You can expect: Indoor, temperature-variable manufacturing setting Exposure to wood dust and cabinet-making materials Loud noise levels with required PPE Standing on concrete or wood flooring for most of the shift Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on role requiring work that involves repetitive motion for extended periods. Solid candidates will be comfortable working around loud, fast-moving production machinery. Additional physical details of the role: Constant standing and walking throughout the shift Frequent reaching, including work at or above shoulder level Frequent twisting, bending/stooping Frequent grasping and hand/wrist movement requiring manual dexterity Frequent fine motor manipulation for measuring, adjusting, and handling materials Occasional lifting or carrying of 20–25 lbs., and frequent lifting of 1–20 lbs.
