ABOUT THE JOB YOU’RE CONSIDERING

Sr. Manager based in Toronto responsible for overseeing and coordinating large scale deployment cutovers from legacy systems to a Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive cutover plan, managing timelines, coordination of execution of cutover activities. Key responsibilities include risk identification and mitigation, issue resolution, communication with stakeholders, and ensuring the project meets its goals during the cutover phase.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Cutover Experience:
• Proven experience in managing Dynamics 365 cutover activities and large-scale multi-site ERP implementations (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle etc.)
• 6 - 8+ years of experience in ERP project management, with a focus on cutover activities
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 applications and cutover processes, including data migration, system validation, and testing
• Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to create and execute detailed cutover plans
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise during the cutover process.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Lead Cutover Activities: Oversee and manage the cutover workstream for Dynamics 365 projects, ensuring all activities are executed as planned.
• Develop Cutover Strategy: Create detailed cutover strategies and plans to support deployment phases across various applications.
• Data Migration: Manage data migration processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• System Validation and Testing: Coordinate system validation and testing to ensure the new system functions correctly.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate a smooth transition.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and any issues.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as the primary point of contact for cutover-related activities.
• Maintain clear communication across IT, business units, and external vendors.
• Conduct regular briefings and status updates.
• Governance & Compliance:
• Establish cutover governance including blackout periods, rollback strategies, and resource alignment.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements.
