Friendly Co-Workers Requirements General Duties: Cutting, weighing, and preparing meat Setting up and sanitizing workstations. Following prep lists. Measuring ingredients and seasonings, and preparing cooking ingredients to be used in the cooking process. Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible. Assisting in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise. Distributing orders to be served, cleaning plates for dishwashing, and preparing takeaway packages for customers. Supervising food and cooling room temperatures. Accepting or rejecting ingredients from suppliers. Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen. You will be asked to help other positions and areas depending on the needs for that day We all need help sometimes. As part of the team, we’re all responsible for making Smokey Mo’s a success. That means we help each other, knowing they will help us when we need it Minimum Qualification for Team Members *All team members will need a Food Handler's permit and TABC certification Must be able to: Attend shifts according to schedule and in proper uniform Stand for 8 hours Multitask Reach, bend, squat, stoop, shake, carry, push and lift items throughout the shift Use a knife safely Follow instructions and perform duties accurately and efficiently Have effective hearing for accurate communication
