This position is based in Cleveland, OH Job Description Work from written and verbal instructions. Fully capable of maintaining production rates for 8 hours of 200 Cuts Per Hour (CPH) on Capital and 290 CPH on Unimax for first cutting. Maintains production rates for 8 hours of 140 CPH on Capital when second cutting. Program the cutter. Operate the cutter to make precise cuts as needed. Perform regular preventive maintenance on cutter. Exercise proper care of tools, equipment, and materials. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned or directed. Requirements EDUCATION: High school diploma / GED equivalent REQUIREMENTS: Must have good mechanical skills. Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions. Must be open to working overtime as needed. Must be able to work in a highly physical job and able to lift 30 pounds. Must have an eye for detail/quality. Must be willing to work various different jobs as required. Must have good math skills. Must be a team player. Previous experience operating machinery preferred.
Responsibilities
The Cutter Trainee will operate a cutter to make precise cuts and maintain production rates. They will also perform regular preventive maintenance on the cutter and follow safety regulations.
