We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Cutting and Packaging Room Associate to join our food production team in Woodstock. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on general labour work in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment. You will play a crucial role in cutting, shredding, and packaging cheese products, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with federal food safety standards.
This position requires strong physical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, federally-regulated production setting.

Experience:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cut, shred, and package cheese products according to company standards.
• Operate manual equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform repetitive tasks or rotate through different duties depending on production demand.
• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and warehouse goals.

YOU ARE BEST SUITED TO THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to perform physical labour, including standing for long periods of time, working in a cooler environment periodically (4°C), and lifting up to 20 kg / 50 lbs independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work well in a team-based production environment.
• Food Handler Certification (Training provided by the employer).
• Experience in food production, warehouse, or general labour roles.
• Secondary school education.
